Todd Sullivan Makes Scary-Accurate Predictions
James Cullen
On Friday, I interviewed Todd Sullivan of the ValuePlays blog.
The last question:
James Cullen: Pats or Giants, and by how many?
Todd Sullivan: Giants by 4.
As much as it broke my heart, and my uncle’s television, to watch that game - and now to bring it back up - I have to give Todd his props where props are due: hell of a call.
Still, I completely disagree with the notion that the Patriots choked. There is a noticeable difference between being outplayed and outright choking… and for the first time this season, the Patriots were outplayed for 60 minutes.
Call it the “worst regular season team to ever make the Super Bowl” defeats “the best regular season team ever.”
I chalk it up to the lack of screen passes, which would have hopefully helped slow down the Giants’ pass rush - if it didn’t confuse an already-bewildered Patriots offensive line. And in that regard, Kevin Faulk pulling up with a lame hamstring hurt the Pats more any I’ve seen anyone give credit for…
>Sigh<
For the next week or so, I’ll be exclusively focusing on the short side of things to help express my bitterness at this outcome.
And now, because everyone is depressed and we’re talking about the Patriots, the obligatory picture of Gisele:

I know there are better ones guys, but sometimes my mother reads this.

James,
It is the “starlet” in the luxury box / QB curse..
Ask tony romo (jessica simpson)…
No one has mentioned that this is year #2 a manning has ended Brady’s season and in both cases, Brady had a chance to win (had ball last) it and could not get it done….
a new curse?
